BASD seeks a principal for Liberty High School, one of two large high schools in our urban/suburban K-12 district of approximately 14,500 students, the sixth largest in Pennsylvania. Appointment planned for April 2012, with a start date of July 1, 2012.

Position requires a strong instructional and operational leader, experienced and accomplished in secondary curriculum, school improvement, organizational change, leadership development and community relations, particularly at the building level.

Preferred candidates will demonstrate a passion for working with high school age Students, skills in supervision and development of staff, articulate communication skills, and evidence of positive rapport with diverse students, parents, staff, and community.
